EU €5K salary was not enough!

Brussels 01.05.2026 Looking back on the situaiton the most astonishing is the gap between aspirant-EU politician Zlatimira Ninova Colova proclaimed defence of the European values (See Menu: Family), and grim reality.

Although it is clearly stated that under EU law animals are legally recognized as SENTIENT BEINGS — capable of feeling pain, pleasure, and emotion—based on Article 13 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU), Colova demonstrated zero compassion to the Arik, who once was a beloved pet of her aunt. The very same aunt the left her the heritage – a handsome house in Knyazhevo (See Menu: Location).
Here what she writes in February 2026:

Zlatimira Colova writes:

“He stays outside, hungry and alone / Some neighbours feed him but mostly he is alone”.

She suggests that “a dog foundation can bring him to Belgium”. Why not her? Why she can’t bring the dog of her late aunt to Belgium? Why she can not foot the bill?

Maybe she has financial difficulties? Maybe Colova is in need? However, she says in her interview, that she works for the European Parliament, and for the EU institutions since 2010, last 16 years.

It means she worked for the EU institutions before Arik came to this world, and she knows him his entire life!

From an official table below on can conclude that as a clerk of her level receives a generous monthly salary of €5 thousand euro plus (!) Isn’t is sufficient to take care of the dog of your late aunt, who left you the property, expressing a single wish to look after her pet?

Apparently not. Not for the EU civil servant, and aspirant – Volt politician Zlatimira Colova!

Here below is the rotten crate, where Arik stayed since December 2021, when his owner Galina M. died at age of 60 from cancer.
