Arik is a mix bread of a hunting dog ,10 years old, who lives in Knijzhevo – a district of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. His owner Galina M. died from cancer in December 2021, and the heirs of the house didn’t want him. They put him on the chain into a rotten crate on the dirty rugs, where he stayed ever since.

Lately, when the sister of his owner died in December 2025 the heir of the property wanted him out because she considered that feeding him is too expensive. She even raised funds among her colleagues to buy food for him. (See chapter “FAMILY” to find out who is “Foodie” Zlatimira).
At present his ownership is contested. (See the chapter OWNERSHIP, and SCAM in the Menu).
The purpose of this project is collect the information about Arik, and his story to contest the FALSE PRETENSES of ownership of Zlatimira Colova – a aspirant EU politician, and the EU civil servant.
Furthermore, there is an ambition to attract attention to the gloom of dog’s life in Bulgaria, marked by century long traditions cruelty, and neglect. The dogs most probably don’t know, that Bulgaria joined the EU almost 20 years ago (January,1 2007), and they should be considered, and trated as the SENTIENT BEINGS, not objects, as they are defined by the law (See chapter LAW in MENU above)(See SCAM chapter in the MENU).
